I’m at the “how much time does Henry have left before the Sox can bring in new owners that actually care?” stage. It’s the only way the Sox might have a chance at acting like a big market team again.
FSG has dozens of partners who invested in the company. FSG has a responsibility to the investors who appreciate a return on their investment. Nobody wants the hear this is a business. There’s major development around Fenway on the horizon and the team will not be sold.
I’ve been doing my best to hold off saying something I might possibly regret. The last straw is Bichette and then I can let loose. It’s not over yet, but it’s sure been a rough go of it so far.
It seems we’re only a few days away from seeing Yoshida taking balls at 2nd
What did Cora do?

Every year…

Mysteriously Cora stopped the passive aggressive comments to the media about improving the team after getting a new deal.
This has nothing to do with Alex Cora. He doesn’t sign the paychecks.
Cora is a puppet not a clown
I have had no faith in these clowns since the Lester debacle as a teen. this is par for the course for them. sell the team if you don’t give a shit.
Last season I bought the MLB package for the first time in many years after they signed Bregman. I thought they were serious and it would be a competitive season. This year unless they make a major change I’m out. They can’t cobble together a true contender on a budget.
They were too busy spending 450 million pounds on Liverpool this past summer.
Not to sound like the saltiest, petty bitch in the world, but when the Sox let Mookie walk years ago, I posted that it signaled a shift in ownership mentality and that they were likely not going to spend money again any time soon, and I was downvoted like crazy and called a doomer. Guess what, understanding how businesses operate and identifying obvious trends does not make you a doomer. I haven’t spent a dime in Henry since then and I never regret it. Still follow the team, still root for them, still want them to be good, but if you aren’t spending money to make the roster better, I’m not spending money to support you.
I guess they run out of money after spending £400m for liverpool last year hahahaha
Alex Cora used to have the stones to criticize the roster til he got the extension and now his balls are in Henry’s purse
I don’t see how Cora should be blamed for ownership’s failures
The mods gunna delete this one too?
Full throttle.
Why is Cora here. Cora is the best thing we have as I believe this team plays for him! And in spite of cheap ownership & miss poor management. Please for the love of god, APPRECIATE CORA!
