  1. Why are you considering the lateral DC job more than a HC job? He would have less control on the Cowboys staff than he would with the Vikings. If he leaves, it's a HC job with a good front office. All the Vikings can do is try to offer him as much as they can in the current DC job that he's in. The Vikings can't actively search for another DC as long as Brian Flores is in the building and so far, only the Ravens have requested him. There are many DCs on the market entertaining HC offers, with Jesse Minter (Chargers) being another very strong candidate. Being hypervigilant and trying to woo other coaching candidates when the coaches haven't actually left makes the Vikings look more desperate than they should be.

  2. I don't get the point of this rant here, Andy. You contradicted yourself by saying that Flores doesn't owe the Vikings anything but he should be grateful and should stick with the team. Come on man, he's a free agent and he can go anywhere he wants or stick around. It's up to him. I'm sure he's very grateful that KOC and this team gave him a chance and he returned his gratefulness by turning a bottom 2 defense 3 years ago into top 10 in many rankings in the last 3 years of his service.

  3. I can't blame him if he wants to leave. Why wouldn't he want to carve his own path and someday be a HC instead of being the 2nd man in command as DC. Hope he stays, but at the end of the day he will do what he wants to do.

  4. 7 not including Miami are looking for HC. All have invited multiple people to interview. Flores has only 1 interview in all that. Dallas is already over the cap have to pay Pickins Javontae and other and very very few of their def players fit Flores scheme. It is all media giving you a bunch of propaganda to get you to watch or listen to their podcast or station. He is either going to sign with Raven or be our Def Coordinator period.

  5. Brian Flores should make a business decision that’s best for him and his family. Fuck loyalty, teams cut players and fire coaches all the time. We can stop at “He owes the Vikings nothing”

  6. I think Ravens will end up taking Klint kubiak. Just my opinion. Flores does deserve a HC position but i pray he stays one more season with us. Will see.!? SKOL!!!!

  7. I expect a major factor in his decision will be how confident he is that the Vikings offense can pull it together next year. That would be the main rationale for a lateral move, wanting to go somewhere where he can win.

  8. As we are all aware, the Vikings are simply a farm team. We need to continue to showcase the great talents of all personnel and send them up to a real SB contender
We are not going to be in the SB. Send the stars to where they shine.
    SKOL VIKINGS 💯
    👽

  9. Nope. I do NOT want Flores to get an HC job, unless it's with the Vikings. I'm a VIKINGS fan, first and foremost. Not a Flores-first fan, not a Jefferson-first fan, not a fantasy football gameplayer who's compromised his team loyalties in favour of league-wide gambling games.
And if no one would touch Flores after his time in Miami, other than Tomlin (ex-Viking coach), and the Vikings, then yeah… Flores damn sure owes some loyalty to the people who believed in him, supported him, when no one else would.

  10. WRONG. I wouldn't say he owes the Vikings nothing. The Vikings gave him the opportunity to resuscitate his career after the Dolphins COMPLETE D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R. I don't know why you keep understating this, and I have to keep repeating it here. As you concede in this video, nobody would touch this guy after the 'Phins, for good reason. The chemistry between Purple and Flores is what made this work. He has performed well, but owes the Vikings A LOT.

  11. If he moves for a head coach job, I’ll root for him unless he’s playing the Vikes. If he makes a lateral move, which he’s allowed to do, I hope he fails and loses head coach prospects. That’s my right. Is it petty? Sure. Sports are petty.

  12. Just because one is a fantastic coordinator doesn’t mean that will translate to HC. Fangio, Spagnolo and J. McDaniels are some examples. If Flo makes a lateral move that would really stink. The Cowboy’s keep surfacing with that rumor. One has to have their head examined to work for Jerry Jones. The grass isn’t always greener somewhere else. His family has roots in Minnesota. He seems to be loved in Minnesota. The Wilf’s are fantastic owners regardless of the whining by some rubes. Hopefully he’ll decide to stay. He’s young and still has time to try the HC thing again. Perhaps it could actually be in Minnesota if The Vikings struggle again next season?
