Using the argument that Callahan and Thomas recommended Wills to imply their decisions or ability to recognize talent may be questionable is lazy thinking. Wills problem was more motivation and effort than talent.
10:24 Everyone was very positive about those four tackles in 2020, Andrew Thomas, Jed Wills, Mekhi Becton, and Tristan Wirfs. They all went in the first 13 picks.
Lance Zierlein described Wills like this: "Wills is one of the most impressive tackles in the draft; he has basketball-caliber foot quickness and the quick hands of a boxer, and all of it is wrapped in a stout, powerful package of bad intentions. His game is tailor-made for the NFL, and his range of success is good starter to All-Pro."
CBS Sports called him, "the best offensive lineman prospect in this year's draft." Kiper had him as the best OT in the draft. McShay had him as a Top-10 pick and the # 1 tackle. The list goes on and on. Nobody was raising any red flags.
Ironically, of these four "can't miss" OTs, only one has had an outstanding career and he was the last of the four picked.
Ty Simpson is garbage
So many people confuse "average" with getting a C in their grades. Average is 50 percentile. A C is 70 percentile, significantly above average.
If the Browns take Ty at 6 I’m not watching next year if they take him later round that reasonable
Great comp with Greg Roman and Jim Schwartz. Quality honest content again from the man Q.
Thanks for answering my question Q. I agree 100% with your answer…
Doesn't Shedeur have a say?
Might be a hot take for a lot of people but I really like Mike Mcdaniels I didn’t think he’d get fired but I would get behind that hire I just think Miami is a dumpster fire maybe even more so than us tbh
If you look back at Jim Schwartz coaching tenure he changed culture for lions took them to playoffs 1 year and played in tough division at the peak of Aaron Rodgers and the Vikings Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson,Jared Allen era in NFC North both were Super Bowl contenders at the time and Gm missed on a lot of draft picks after obviously getting Stafford number one overall and the Suh number one overall missed on recievers every year in second round Schwartz was there
The Browns want to hire assistants that could step into the HC position if a move needs to be made,Schwartz would be a good keep as DC but not HC
I honestly don’t think Jim Schwartz was that special i just think Joe Woods was terrible
the one thing you are looking past when talking about Jim Schwartz is the culture and leadership he brings to the team. Culture is something that has been lacking under Stefanski and a firey guy like Schwartz could make sure guys are being held accountable. Everything you brought up is about scheme and x's and O's. but leadership of a team is a lot deeper than that.
If you are unable to draft a QB bring Willis in to compete with Shadeur.
Ty Simpson at 6? What a joke 🤣🤣🤣
The QnA shows are some of my favorites that you do!!
If dion sanders wants harbaugh, then look elsewhere. He is just looking for someone to make more excuses for his crap son and thinks he has a friend to extend his career another year.
I'm a simple man in life. I See Q drop a vid. I watch and give it a like 💯
The playoffs are already proving that elite QB play is REQUIRED to be successful in the playoffs. Each one of these games has had a QB making insane plays to win games.
It’s not shocking to see/hear some speculation on whether any top-tier HC candidate would even want to take on this dysfunction & history. Sad to admit 😢😢😢😢
Ty Simpson shouldn’t even be draft able
