While I agree he slots better as a Mike in a 4-3 scheme, he grades out nearly as well as either the Mike or Will in our 3-4 and he represents a massive upgrade over everyone we currently have on 3rd down and nickel or dime packages.
I’m hoping we won’t have to move up to get him. But if he and David Bailey are gone, we’re kinda in no-man’s-land draft wise.
Is it possible to get this guy and Crosby? I’m unaware on what crosby will cost, can we trade for him while retaining this years first? With styles and the edge talent we could grab with this year’s high pick, I feel it’s best not to waste that pick on an older maybe injury prone expensive edge like crosby. I could see it if we were all in THIS year, but do we believe we can go far this year with this coaching? May be best to invest for future still.
