  1. Thought exercise here: how many NFL Franchises today, if given the opportunity for a straight 1 for 1 starting QB swap, would trade their starting QB for Bryce Young?

In my opinion the Jets and Browns would consider, maybe the Vikings. Maaaybe the Dolphins but I think they’d roll the dice with Ewers.

I think there’s a half dozen teams that wouldn’t even swap their backup for Bryce.

  2. Guess I have to post this again because OP can’t do math

26th in passing, 15th in TDs, 24th in passer rating, 5th worst in turnovers, and 26th in yards per attempt this year.

Bryce was a below average starting quarterback this year, just like he has been for 4 years. it’s amazing how many people here just can’t do basic research

  3. 29th in passer rating, 21st in passing yards, weakest arm in the nfl, what the hell are we talking about?

  4. This is what I don’t understand about the Bryce hate. We have a decent quarterback. Even if he gets more consistent he’s not going to crack the top ten best in the league or anything. And I understand that qb is the most important position or whatever. But how much would it cost to improve the qb situation? Should we leverage three more 1sts to try to take another swing at it?

Even if you don’t buy the potential or whatever, Bryce still is fine. There are plenty of positions in which the panthers are decidedly not fine. He gets the 5th year option while we build a better team. Andy is getting old – take a stab in the 4th or something. But please make this offseason about the defense. There’s a comment on here that most teams wouldn’t trade their starter for Bryce. But our linebackers and pass rush as a whole wouldn’t even be backups on some other teams. This turned into a bit of a rant but we’re finally getting out of the tear it all down and start over phase. Give me this exact season with 1-2 more defensive stops a game, a sprinkling of big 3rd down sacks, and boy would I be happy.

  5. It’ll be interesting to watch the scheme now that Canales will officially make Coker WR2 and scheme around that.

  6. There has to be a legit, once in a generation, Shohei ohtani level QB in the draft for me to want us to pick up another one

  7. I’m so glad people got to see how good he actually is last night. I think Coker secured a WR2 spot. Him and Tmac can be our franchise receivers for a decade if they keep up this level of play. Always room for improvement on offense also.

Defense needs some more talent to help us stay consistent.

All around a very exciting season with plenty to look forward to.

  8. Coker. Tmac. And a dependable running game that you can count on while we’re wishing for things.

  9. I don’t know if Bryce is going to become a Drew Brees like for us but I think he has the potential to. What I do know is if we let him go anywhere else there is like a 99% chance he becomes a Drew Brees and we regret it. That’s just what happens to the panthers.

  10. Enable Coker and shoot XL out of a cannon. Get us a consistent WR3 and our offense will be cooking.

  11. I really think Coker could snowball into something exciting. If we don’t blow it I think we’ll sniff the playoffs again next year, hopefully bump us up in line for the Superbowl.

  12. Bryce Young led the league in deep ball accuracy with a catchable percentage of 75 percent on passes that traveled at least 20 yards in the air. I have no idea why the Panthers have such a conservative offense
