About 10 years ago I went to a Wild v Flyers game in MN. I was surprised by how many Canadians came down for the game. Every single one of them that I asked why they came for a Wild v Flyers game had the same answer…”Bobby Clarke”.
We’re talking 35 years after Bobby Clarke played, people are making thousand dollar trips to still watch that team. Lucky for us we have the internet and can now pick our allegiances more diligently.

I’m still a die-hard Canucks fan, but the Wild are firmly my #2 team now and I will be a Hughes fan forever.
