Is it worth paying the $40 extra? It’ll be my first jersey so I’m considering getting the nicer one. Thoughts?

    The “game worn” ones, or whatever the most expensive ones are called, generally are not.

  5. Incredibly worth it if you have the money, particularly for a Hawks jersey. The chain stitching is so incredible it’s hard to go back once you’ve gotten one.

    I would venture to say that you should get the winter classic bedsy sweater.

  10. Don’t get the breakaway, either go premium or knock off. Fanatic breakaway are basically the same quality as a knock off for 5x the price

  11. Especially on hawks jerseys go premium. Breakaway will be a turd of a logo patch. Premiums have the good chainstitched patches.

  12. Worth it for sticking, it’ll last way longer and save you $40 in the future.

    You should spot clean them as much as possible and then dry clean in 1-2 times a year!

  15. I have a premium and it is very well made. I feel like if I got a break away I’d be very disappointed in comparison. You’re getting what you pay for, for sure.

  21. I’d only get a breakaway if it was a cheap enough sale to not feel bad using it for beer league. Or maybe if I wanted something silly like a Quick jersey, or someone who’s not signed long term.  It’s 100% worth the extra for a premium.  

  22. Yes, get the premium. If it were me, id get the Centennial jersey with the 100 years on the shoulder and the numbers outlined in gold.

  23. Everything made by fanatics is trash. I always go knock off because I find them higher quality

  24. Premiums are the minimum… I don’t understand how people buy breakaways and are satisfied with them. Sure the premium isn’t a MIC but it’s a RETAIL authentic and well worth the money.

  25. The only reason I got breakaway jerseys because they were on clearance specials that you couldn’t get with an authentic jersey. For $40 it’s definitely worth it, in my case I would have been paying three times as much for an authentic one verse the fanatics when they were about half off the price.

  27. If you can afford it go for it! The stitching on the crest and shoulder patches are so sweet.

  29. Personally, I would go with Hockey Authentics. I’ve had terrible luck with 95% of fanatics products.
