This jersey is controversial but I personally like them

I always liked them, didn’t like the arena but the black was a cool alternate
Doesn’t that have the first Brooklyn season patch? He never actually played with that.
I’ve always loved the black jerseys!
They had Schaefer in the full Brooklyn uniform for his Tom Brady promo vid too lol. Weird that it’s popped up twice in the last week
Very interesting. Like the Stadium Series jerseys this was always a bit overhated because of the context behind it, but it’s not a bad idea out of context.
Rambling design thoughts: I think the blue-white alternate works better with this logo because the logo is square and bulky and that’s fine with the blue-white which is a rather bulky design (and I associate more with our bulkier players), but black being a slim light design (and perfect for skating players like Barzy or even Schaefer) needs a more sleek and angular logo.
The jersey itself isn’t bad at all and it’s pretty clean, just not a fan of using black when it’s not one of our colors and no blue and barely any orange

This uniform is terrible but was very apropos for the Barclays era… soulless and devoid of even the slightest shred of Islanders identity.
Love that he’s reppin isles gear he never wore out to play pond hockey. He’s an islander fan like us
Pond hockey on off days? This team rocks
I like the overall jersey, but do not enjoy the logo. The normal isles logo with white would have been great. This one, that turned into the stadium series logo/thirds took the Long Island out of the team. Looked goofy to me.
Islanders just posted all the pictures on Twitter, it’s Anders’ jersey apparently lol.
He’s wearing Lee’s number 27 bc they were at his house
My Barclay’s Black Okposo jersey is one of my favorites. It’s sick seeing Barzy in it
Saw one of those in a bar in London, Ontario a year or two ago
i just had a nightmare that the isles 3rd jersey next year is a reverse retro of this, black NY on white jersey.
