I remember when we signed him I was like, yeah he seems cool, but on paper he doesn’t really seem like much of an upgrade from Caris?

I knew NAW was a net positive impact player…just didn’t expect him to not be this good. Dude had a Brunson growth going into his prime….and for 15 million…wow…
Always saw his potential playing with the pelicans and I’m glad we were actually able to sign him. Never thought he’d sign here and on such a great deal, one of the better off-seasons in a while.
It’s sick because right now we need him to be a starter who can reliably put up 20 PPG efficiently and he’s doing it. If next year we need him to go back to being a two way demon putting up 10 ppg and locking down other teams top guard, he will do it
