3. If there was no deal actually “on the table” it’s because they told teams what they were asking for and it was unrealistic. There is always a deal you could make. You may not like that deal at the time, but you’d probably like that deal a lot more than getting no picks, no players and no cap relief which is what happened.

Those of us who watch this show know they were not advocating a hard sell of AD. The guy in the beard is solid but the other 2 guys are not.

I think the basic issue the Mavs are gonna have getting value out of trades involving Naji, Gafford or Klay is every team negotiating with them knows they have to get salary off the books to avoid the second apron penalties. This is why I was 100% with Isaac about moving AD for whatever you could get, primarily expiring contracts. Because no other move would've put them in a position of strength in negotiating basic any deal moving forward than getting off AD's money.

20. I was recently invited by Mr Anthony Davis over to his residence for brunch. Bubble wrap everywhere, I felt awkward because I didn’t know where to hang my coat. Anthony tries to take it being the polite fellow he is, and rolls his ankle! I felt terrible! But after wrapping it and icing for 15 min he felt ready to walk to the dining room to eat, here we go, I thought, after that bump things will go smoothly now. Wrong! He dislocated his ac joint passing me the potatoes!! At this point I just felt terrible for him, and had lost my appetite long ago, but he just keeps trying so I can’t find it in my heart to tell him he doesn’t have to pour my tea. Long story short lovely nice guy who fights hard to put in a good brunch but couldn’t stop getting injuried.

21. You could never get back the worth of AD since he got to Dallas. Maybe when Kyrie got injured the same day Davis should be traded. Now, everyone knows we are desperate. Maybe next year if we are going well in the first 2 months and we are lets say 20-10, we can get rid of him to play the long game and get picks.     Peterson, Boozer, AJ and Wilson.

    The ideal pick if we get a chance in the 20’s. My favorite is Neo followed by Acuff.

    Adding, for example, Boozer and Acuff or AJ and Neo changes my mind on the Luka trade. We wouldn’t get this influx of young talent if he were still here.
    We are on the 2030 timeline now.

48. Ideally the mavs will have roster spots to give Cisse' and Nembhard consistent minutes for the rest of the year. They are part of the future until they prove otherwise. Keep Davis and deal him as an expiring deal next year. That works.
