Isn't this what people want regarding the draft pick?
Worst loss? Maybe in terms of total points, but let me direct your attention to the game June 7, 1998. Bulls 96, Jazz 54. FIFTY FREAKIN' FOUR!!
That was worse. It was a better team and a much more consequential game and they just sh*t the bed. Best +/- was Jacque Vaughn who was only -10. In 7 minutes. I was so bitter I gave up on the Jazz (yeah, I got over it) THAT was the worst loss in Jazz history, even allowing that the Bulls were a much better team than Charlotte. It was horrifying, inexpllicable, awful. Last night? It was a shrug and "Get that pick, good work."
"The outrage seemed high for a 55 point loss ." It's weird how much of a pass this team and staff get. Yeah we don't mind losses as much right now but that was an utter embarrassment and an insult to those in attendance, watching, producing, even the opposing team. We couldn't make any adjustments to close the gap to within FIFTY? Time to stop defending this iteration of the franchise and require accountability.
Fact: "Sports gambling feels 'skill-based,' which gives gamblers a dangerous illusion of control. Even knowledgeable fans systematically overestimate their edge against sportsbooks that are mathematically designed to win." And yet you still promote a corrupt company like FanDuel. They are corrupt and cause indisputable damage to their customers. Why do you still take their money and use them as a sponsor?
I think the bigger issue is that we haven't gave our young players enough runway to really develop, they e been given spot minutes all season and some DNP's, and so when their expected to play an entire game it doesn't feel natural to them anymore. I've been asking this question all year. Does the current Jazz staff know how to develop our young players and the it seems like the answer is leaning towards no. We have had several picks in the top 10 and none of them have shown that they would be rotational starting players on a good team and I don't think it's their fault. Instead of giving them real development minutes they have been given spot minutes and garbage time minutes In favor of playing veteran players that won't be with our team in two years (with the exception of my e Lauri) and you can point to Keyonte's progress and say look he's broken out but he was given Alot more opportunities with the starting lineup or even as a 6th man to develop correctly which actually doesn't prove my point wrong but proves it right. These young players should have been given time to develop. Look at how Ace Bailey has been frozen out all season when he "was" I. The lineup he has been subjeccated to the corner as the rest of the Top 5 draft picks this year have Broken out on their teams and some players even after Ace have broken out & that's because those teams believed In them as franchise players unlike we have with Ace.
meh, no outrage here. football playoffs is here. couldnt care less. Bears beat the Packers! FGB!
Ive told you all for 2 years already Will Hardy doesnt know HOW to coach defense and this team will cap out as a Dame-era Blazers team as a result.
The outrage comes from fans that live and die from the results of the Jazz night after night every game. I USED to be like that. But then I realized. It just doesn't make sense to be that way with a team that DOESN'T in any sense or form have the pieces to compete at a high level for playoffs etc. We DON'T have that right now. There was and is 0 chance for us to compete highly this season. Which has been the same way for 4 or so seasons. I have decided that I will not be too high or too low emotionally this season on the Jazz. Just not worth it. Now if the Jazz get a another good potential star player and Ace gets more experience a season or 2 from now and we are STILL losing like this? Yeah then I will be more down.
How are any of these players expected to develop when they 5 to 10 mins every couple games. That is ridiculous… Look at Cooper Flagg (Mavericks), Dylan Harper (#2), VJ Edgecombe (#3), Kon Knueppel (#5), and Ace Bailey (Jazz) and Ace is struggling and he's the only one out of this group that has been forced in to a inconsequential role with their team. Something to think about…?
Hit the bum bum pow perfect for the 3rd time
I honestly couldn't care less. I feel bad that Cody Williams is getting hit with some headlines but the pick is the only thing that matters and no one will care about this game if we convey it
