1. If Santander is healthy and performs as we expected that's our big superstar for the year. Bo is a defensive liability and we don't have room at DH. I think we'll be ok without Bo or Tucker. Also, Bo finished the year injured and entering his injury years. Let him go

2. I think Toronto is out on BO at this point. If hes asking 300 million Jays won't pay that.

    The second issue that remains is that paying sportsballers by the hundreds of millions is not only a HUGE turnoff but also rarely pays off.

19. Bo made twelve errors last year and most of them cost the Jays a lot. He made $17.5 mil last year and in my mind was over paid.

20. I think the Blue Jays are a better team right now regardless if they sign Tucker or Bo. I am hoping Santander can have a rebound year and guys like Barger keep improving. I think the infield is defensively strong with Gimenez ss and Clement 2b with the corners being Vlad 1b and Okamoto 3b. Bullpen is deeper but still lacking a bit in the closer spot. Starting pitching is top notch. Should be another fun year as a Blue Jays fan! However, still would love Bo or Kyle but not heart broken if the finances don't work. The other thing is the Blue jays do have some trade bait (Berrios) to fill any needs also.

    While Bichette would be paid thru those years PLUS his prime years 28-32 … Making above scenario doable and cheaper than Bregman’s contract as it should be due to Bo’s defensive metrics !!!!
