Packers now are expected to try to work out a deal in the coming days to keep head coach Matt LaFleur in Green Bay, per sources.

  1. “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”

  2. I’m hesitant about it but I will say I don’t know who we could have actually got at HC that I would have been happy with.

  3. Hell no. Even if somehow they get some kind of guru as OC and he gives up play calling, his command of this team is non-existent. So unless they keep him as OC and get a new HC, he is not the guy.

  4. It’s clear he doesn’t have a Super Bowl ceiling and constantly chokes games. That was clear since 2020..

  5. Good to know that I don’t need to take the team seriously for a while going forward

  6. this just ruined my day this team will never get far in the playoffs. I am so over it.

  7. Disappointing but not surprising. I get Policy doesn’t want a lame duck head coach but the optics of this after what just occurred are horrendous

  8. Only silver lining and maybe I’m being delusional but this is rock bottom for LaFleur right? He has never gotten this type of hate or press and he KNOWS something has to change in order, right? Am I being crazy? Especially after all the press from Johnson’s lack of a handshake and the cheese grater stuff, this is an opportunity to get his lick back, so maybe, just maybe, something might actually change….

  9. This fucking team. How to you go all in with Micah then double down on keeping a fucking choke artist who won’t make any changes or fire any of his useless coach buddies? I won’t spend a cent on anything packers relating moving forward.

  10. See everyone next year at this time when we’re saying, “Ok, NEXT year is the put up or shut up year.”

  11. If we do, we’ll see no improvement. This would be a “keep the lights on” signing. Nobody in their right mind can assume this signing is to improve things.

  12. Welp, the other day someone on here was asking if we’re just an average team now. Looks like we have our answer.

  13. I don’t know how you can hear the quotes from the players themselves and think they respect this man going forward… an extension is going to set this team back for years. Wasting Love and Parson’s prime. The standard use to be competing for Super Bowls not fighting for the 7 seed and quick exits.

Extending LaFleur after the finish to this season is truly a slap in the face of the fans. Injuries are no excuse, look at the 49ers.

  14. He is as soft as baby cheeks and the team takes the identity of the head coach we’re gonna be middle of the pack for a wail if he stays

  15. They better have a good read on that locker room. Because he lost like 90% of fans this weekend. Wouldn’t be shocked if he lost player support as well.

  16. And just like that, the entire front office has lost what little credibility and goodwill they were clinging onto. If this is true, Policy just missed the easiest layup decision of his tenure.

  17. This is why we will never have a Pats or Chiefs level dynasty. Happy with mediocre performances is crazy.

  18. I think it’s time for MLF to go, but I’d be neither shocked nor super pissed if he stays. They do need to turn over some staff for 2026 including the O-line coaching. And for sure Bisaccia has to go.

  19. This is worse than taking an ex back after they cheat on you. Let’s move on!!! It’s not gonna be “different this time”

  20. Unserious team, unserious franchise. 2 playoff wins in 7 seasons. Hasn’t won the division in 4 seasons. Coaches scared, afraid to lose. Stale, predictable, and curls into a ball and shrinks the moment the team faces any adversity and gets punched. A consistent underachiever.

  21. 37-30-1 while being 1-3 in the post season in the last 4 years. Organization must be comfortable with mediocrity.

  22. I’d be fine bringing him back after a loss to the bears. I’m not okay bringing him back after a collapse to the Bears.

6 points in a half while being up 18 to start is inexcusable

  23. If he gives up play calling like so many people seem to want, what benefit does he actually bring to the team? The offense is supposed to be his specialty. If he can’t call the plays he needs to just go

  24. I mean we all were fooling ourselves thinking that any changes would be made in the coaching staff. We all know 99% of the staff will be back and will be the same old Packers

  25. If MLF would give up play calling rather than sitting on the bench looking a tablet half the game, I think a lot of us would compromise to that.
