  1. He was holding his lower back on the previous possession already. Not great, hopefully it’s muscle related. At this rate we barely can field a team with all these injuries.

  2. It makes sense he hurts his back from carrying us all this time. I hope it’s not anything severe🙏🏻

  3. He walked off by himself. It should be nothing too serious, sucks for our momentum though

  4. Apparently he got into a car accident before the last rockets game so hopefully it’s just that.

  5. He’s missed games the last few years from back tightness/soreness. Hopefully just landed funny and it’s a spasm.

  6. You can’t do s*** when your back spasms. It locks up and you just gotta wait several days for it to calm down

  7. I had a injury right where he is grabbing in 2013, still flairs up from time to time to this day. I give it at min 2 weeks recovery, lower back is no joke but shouldn’t put him out too long if that’s all it is.

  8. If it’s just spasms he should be fine by the all star game. If his disc is ruptured or something else bad, maybe not.

  9. [It was an ominous scene. But Avdija did his best to downplay the situation, calling his injury “nothing major” and saying “I’m not really concerned.” “I’m going to recover as fast as I can and try to come back,” Avdija said, adding “I just felt my back give up on me and I couldn’t straighten up.”](https://www.hoopshype.com/story/sports/nba/rumors/2026/01/12/deni-avdija-im-going-to-recover-as-fast-as-i-can-and-try-to-come-back/88138942007/)
