1. Archie got $7 Million last year and Dante is not a Top 10 in NIL currently. Dante wants to be the best and has to learn to be a better QB in the pocket and what other team develops QBs better than Oregon?

3. I can't get past that performance by Moore against Indiana. Don't have a good feeling about him or the Jets. 2026 could be another disaster. Wish we were the Raiders .

6. If we draft Moore, the plan should be to let him sit for most or all of the year. We need to sign or trade for a bridge quarterback who can mentor him (someone like Brissett or Cousins). Meanwhile, focus on building out the rest of the offense so that when Moore is ready to start, he steps into a complete team. The reality is, even if we landed Mendoza, he’s not saving this team on his own either.

7. Skip drafting a quarterback this year and trade down for more picks. Bring in a veteran this year and draft a QB next year.

12. Moore’s ceiling even next year is the likely #2 overall considering the infatuation with Arch. Makes too much sense for him to come out this year, and this Raiola news just further hints at it. This is great news for the Jets as it opens up more options to either take him at 2, or trade back and accumulate even more picks.

15. The Jets need to keep in mind what QB's will be available next year as well. We own a lot of draft capital and if we don't fall in love with any of these guys we could move out of 2 and gain some more capital.

16. I think Moore's gonna declare. Sure Dillan Raiola transferred to Oregon, but people are forgetting that next up at Oregon is Akili Smith Jr. That's why I don't think Raiola goes there if Moore was gonna come back.

18. Jets fans are getting what they deserve. After running Sam Darnold out of town to draft Zach Wilson, Darnold has led 2 franchises to the playoffs. Jets could have kept Darnold and drafted either Penei Sewell or Jamar Chase. Now Jets fans are going ape sht for a QB.

22. In Caleb William’s last college season, he threw for 1 TD and 3 INTs as his #10 USC got trounced by Notre Dame.

    In the 2022 ACC Championship game, Drake Maye threw 0 TDs and 2 INTs as UNC got spanked 39-10.

25. Every time the Jets are in position to get a franchise QB they always win games they are supposed to lose, and it’s usually because they listen to dumb fans who think winning meaningless games after your out of playoff contention leads to building a winning culture 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I know it’s not exciting and will cost another year of mediocre football but the best thing the jets can do for the long term of this franchise is to not draft Moore, trade down 5-10 spots for another 1st in next years draft, draft at least 1 defensive player from Ohio state (preferably downs) and a wr, and then go into next years draft with 4 1st round picks and we will then find our qb + a lot more talent.
    Resign breece, AVT and fill in some spots in free agency but next year is our year.
    The plan would be to come into the 2027 offseason with 4 1st round picks and plenty of cap space to center around our rookie qb whether that’s manning or someone else.
    If the team had proper ownership/management they would do this, I know it’s not gonna sell tickets and we’d be sacrificing another year but it’s the best chance at turning this around for the next 10-15 years.

30. Dylan wouldn’t be transferring to sit on a bench. Dante must be declaring for the draft. The coaches, players, and school most likely already know what the public will hear soon.

31. People keep throwing the names of these college QBs , usually stans of the various programs they come from, as if they magically will come in and fly. What we really need for look at is how they bring in to coach the offense..anyone here think Engstrand can coach up and scheme to a young QB? If so why, where is the evidence ? Saying none of the QBs were good this year as an excuse for him miss something, he couldn't make any of them work..and QB coach? You really trust Glenns ability to hire offensive coaches when he hired London?.

    Glenn does what he did this year and hires cronies and guys with 0 experience to coach the offense and jets are dead as a team.

    As far as Moore goes the people who are writing him off are people who swallowed the Kool
    Aid he could come in and be QB day 1.

    Hate to tell you but Simpson looked like a deer in the headlights against indianas defense, and if chambliss played them he would likely look just as bad..

    Jets have to evaluate them based on their plusses and minuses., where they are now and where they can go. This bullshit if you draft them high they have to start is utter bullshit in the modern NFL, it is a myth that is deadly. It is like the idea coaching doesn't matter.

    I can give you just as many arguments against Simpson and chambliss that people throw at Moore. None of them is NFL ready ,that much is certain.

    I am a lot more concerned with the jets coaching staff, which as I write this the.only they have done is interview some Flores assistant for DC. We don't even know if they are going to fire London or bring in experienced coaching help on the offense.

    Just to note, for most college players they have to declare by tomorrow, unless they were in the playoffs then it is the 23rd.
