Why are we pretending the Jays offseason is great?
Sure the rotation is better but the bullpen is the same (Sir Anthony out, Rogers in) and as of now the offence is WORSE! We need Bo or Tucker or a big trade to make this offseason the success the media has already decided it is.
An infield with Gimminez and Clement is a middle you'd expect to see in KC or Tampa not a World Series team. I think we need Bo at second more than Tucker in Right.

Tucker is the better player but he will be a Dodger despite all the theatre around this, this is the same MO as with Ohtani, make sure you visit Dunedin, and make sure someone sees you there and then maintain the narrative about Jays being in, Jays have best offer, etc. Of course we never hear anything about the Dodgers and Mets, this just tells me the agent needed the Jays in it so the preferred team ups the ante. All top players want to go to the Dodgers no matter how many good vibes we have in Toronto, that's the reality, the Dodgers don't need to do anything, just wait it out because they know the player wants to go there. I still think we have a shot at Bo but I think the chances are less and less each day and he ends up with the Phillies, Yankees, Red Sox and yes, of course the Dodgers. I think the Jays are done this off season, which I agree has been a good one, we still have a really good team at the end of the day.
