  1. I honestly dislike that guy for saying that the Panthers shouldn't have hosted this playoff game. It's been 10 years since Charlotte has had a playoff game. We won the division and the city of Charlotte deserved this game. I bet he said the Panthers would get blown out too, but oh wow who woulda guessed that the game was close. It was a good football game, what more did you want? I also just don't think you understand how much this game mattered to this city of Charlotte and the fans of the Carolina Panthers. I had more fun at that game than any game I have ever been to and enjoyed every second of it because we hadn't had it in 10 years. The stadium was the loudest it has ever been and was actually moving. It is just such a loser take, this is how it has always been. If you want to get rid of divisions and do a round robin season format we can talk, but otherwise stop this lame division winners shouldn't host a playoff game narrative.

Edit: Also, of course the guy saying that is a Pats fan. Boston, the most spoiled fan base in sports. Literally has no idea how much this game meant to us.

  2. As a Rams fan, I'm glad the punt was blocked. If it would have went off without a hitch the Panthers would have 100% went down the field anyway and left no time on the clock. I'm also glad they scored a touchdown because, then we would need 4 points not 3. We would have missed the field goal to tie or lost in OT. 4 down territory with 2:30 on the clock and 3 timeouts….. Easy.

  3. The Rams just don't have that killer instinct that their past Greatest Show on Turf teams had. The defense just can't go hunting when they get a lead. If they can't get that defense ballin', they won't go very far.

Guess who also knows the building….Davante Adams.

  4. When you play someone twice of that caliber…you belong and match up so the Panthers better ,media ride🍆 alot of same teams even when they bad like Cowboys

  5. Puka was the MVP in this game. He should be a real MVP choice,,, alas he is not a qb. Who in the NFL is more valuable to the team?
Who had more impact for there team. Love my Stafford but…..

  6. Why are people complaining? Beastquake happened. It's simple and everybody knows it. Win your division. It's such a dumb complaint. The NFL wants to value the division winning

  7. Stafford’s 324 yards vs the Eagles in the playoffs last year stands as the highest documented single-game passing yardage in a heavy snow environment.

  8. Didn't expect anything from the Panthers this season but they surprise me with how far they improve. They won some tough game they weren't suppose too and lose games they were expected to win. If the Panthers can add more depth and fix their inconsistency than they can be a dangerous team next season.

  9. I hope your MAIN takeaway is that Shula plays WAY too soft with his defense. He was dealt a pat hand and he's screwing it up with how soft he plays his "bend but don't break" defense. I hope he gets a head coaching job somewhere so that he leaves and we can bring back Brandon Staley. Staley attacked on defense the same way McVay attacks on offense. That's why his defense was rated #1 in the NFL that single year he was DC.

  10. What kills me is how fickle fans are, had the Panthers stopped that final drive the conversation would be "what's wrong with the Rams" and yet nobody is questioning right now "are the Rams as good as we thought?". Funny how 1 drive changes an entire narrative, meanwhile everyone ignores the collapse. Smh

  11. it ain't broke . . . division winners get their home games . . . wildcards travel . . . 1st seed gets a bye . . . easy peasy nice and easy . . . seeding introduces too much subjectivity . . . particularly since not all schedules are going to be same-strengrh . . . it is what it is . . . just play the game; the NFL is succeeding in establishing parity across the league . . . 🏈👀

  12. Rams should of won easily but McVay made some bad decisions like going for it on 4th down up 17-7 when they had a easy field goal to make it 20-7 and also Puka dropping a easy touchdown before halftime , so the Rams should of been up 27-14 at halftime 😝😎

  13. Rich, you touched on this, but the thing about Davante Adams is his drops. He's made some spectacular catches, but man, he's had some awful drops when the ball hits him right in the hands. It's happened enough to notice. Puka's bad drop during the game would've been an easy touchdown. You throw him that ball 99 more times, and he catches 99 of them. He rarely has legit drops. But Davante has had more than a few really bad drops this year, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

  14. Been a rams fan my whole life and I will admit that our defense is washed up, they lost their identity against the Seahawks. Not sure they will win the next round.

  15. Rams have a better record than the Bears. Should they be playing in LA this Sunday? We also play in the toughest division in football. Our worst team would win the NFC South if they played in that division. Iron sharpens iron. How else can you explain 75% still fighting in a 4 team field. The West is the best.
