What were the Carolina Panthers thinking with their defensive approach in the last drive vs Rams?

2. Prevent defense in that scenario was the reason they lost. Evero has done that in multiple games this season and last. It never works. Prevent should only be used against a Hail Mary.

3. I think their hand was forged due to injuries. Horn was out, LB extremely thin and struggling. Weakness of team limited pass rush.

4. I don't know if that whole "first place schedule" is actually all that relevant. There are only three games per year – formerly only two – that are determined by your finish last year.

   As far as our defense goes, it was just not good enough. This was Evero's most successful season as our DC – and it was good for 15th in the NFL in scoring defense. We had no pass rush all year. If we had any sort of pass rush with our secondary we'd be a REALLY good defense. I think it's time for a change there. I don't know who we can get, but we need to do better.

5. Definitely the reason we lost that game, I think most of the coaches including Dave need better situational awareness. They've struggled to adapt or stick to a plan that's worked in games like this. Some games they have a hard time finding weaknesses in the other team but other times they would find them and then abandon what was working. As an overall consensus that needs to change moving forward

6. Which is why I STILL THINK EJIRO EVERO NEEDS TO BE FIRED GET AWAY FROM US AS FAR AS HE CAN. But apparently still signed with us I hate it FREE US but even tho we lost Rams didn’t beat us by 10.5 points and Panthers actually did good went out FIGHTING WE WILL BE BACK. Future is bright for panthers

7. Evero will never have this defense above a 16th or 17th ranking, that is his peak.
