  1. It won’t be enough to beat the dodgers and you can’t bet on the players they have now to break out. You can’t run a team on or anything for that matter on what ifs, just my opinion

  2. The Jimenez and Lantigua signings aren't bad ones, but I doubt they'll get the "lightning in a bottle" scenario. They're depth moves. They may come up for a few games to spell players who need a break or get injured. We'll look at them the way we look at Buddy Kennedy.

As far as Tucker and Bo are both concerned at this point, "wake us when they put a scribble on a piece of paper".

  3. With regard to the question, I'm in the "just not good enough" or maybe the "a little underwhelming" category. You're always going to have holes in a lineup from 1-9, but in this case I see three pretty big ones. Varsho, Santander, and Gimenez are going to be big problems in terms of their offensive output, even at the bottom of the lineup. You live with Varsho and Gimenez because of their D, but Santander doesn't give you that and I doubt there's a team in MLB that would take him on; he also represents a downgrade overall from Lukes, given the way Lukes extended ABs and wore out pitchers for Vlad to feast on later and played better D. You're relying on 1-4 and including "something close to 2025 Springer" in that projection, with regular contributions from 6 and 8 and "whatever you can get whenever it happens" from 5, 7, and 9. If you're looking to legitimately contend, there has to be an upgrade somewhere and someone is going to have to be moved. The only upgrade left is Bo with Clement going into the "super sub" Ben Zobrist kind of role, which he's probably too good for at this point.

IF Santander can be moved…and again, I don't think he can…then that changes the dynamic. Again, though, who do you move him to, how much of his contract do you have to take on, and for what?

  4. I feel like kyle should come to jays,he can do some great things with the line up we have, mets got a decent line up but they didnt show up last year when it mattered, but I think alot of these guys bo included is going for money not stats or deep runs.

  5. Why the hell is this "scary". What is going in the the World right now is scary….not the fact that some soon to be super rich athlete will sign with a MLB Team. Dude, get your priorities straight!

  6. There’s nothing wrong with being the “favorites”.
Winners handle the pressure! Jays have wanna compete till the end they absolutely have to sign Tucker or at least bo which would make the infield a whole next issue

  7. I feel as if Atkins is gonna land two big time players one bat and one stud for the pen in a trade. I don't see a big signing. But there's gonna be a hugeeeeee trade out of no where no one expected. Got that feeling…everyone all worried when the Jays miss out then boom it happens

  8. I've lost 115 pounds since December 28th, 2024.

So I'm ready to stomp and dance and prance and scream and party for our Jays as I lose the last 35 and our boys win it all in 2026.

  9. wow another nothing burger its the business and yes i feel team will be ok however these sports analysts can get a kick in the butt if tucker or bichette don't sign with Toronto

  10. They need to re-sign bo first they’re gonna have to come up on the money and the term. We cannot have him go to the Red Sox. That’s a double whammy. Then focus on whether it be Bellinger or Tucker. Outside of the pitching the only real signing they’ve done is Okamoto. That’s not gonna be a difference maker, especially if we lose bo. If they don’t get him back or signed Tucker, all of a sudden the off season becomes a fail.

  11. It's not like there was an "buy now" button they could push. It makes sense Tuckers camp would delay signing to bring in as many competitive bids. What's happening is what was going to inevitably happen.

  12. He obviously doesnt want to play for the jays he s trying to get more money from the Dodgers. He doing exactly what Bergman did last year and also this year

  13. "youve been absolute beast with the support" he says that everytime and he gets cussed down in comments a lot. Stop doing mechanical tactics for views and just be a real host for everybody. Stop putting " no way" or "this is insane" in almost every single video. Shits annoying and seems fake as hell

  14. If they come out of this without Bichette or Tucker, I would say it is a fail. They haven't added enough in the bullpen to make enough of a difference, and they haven't added anything above what we had last year offensively, when we LOST the world series, they have to add proven MLB talent if they want to win!!!

  15. I really doubt Tucker is signing with the Jays. If he wanted too it would have been done by now. I think he is just waiting for the NY teams or Dodgers offer.

  16. Neither Tucker or Bo are coming, Atkins could have had Bo but did his normal goof ball thing if let’s wait to see who signs him. As for Tucker, Atkins needs to say her is the offer give me a yes, no, counter offer by this date or we are moving along

  17. The one trump card the Jays do have, they can match/exceed every offer that other teams put on the table. Mets want to go high AAV on a shorter term deal, the Jays can match that and more. He wants a long term, still fairly high AAV, the Jays know that no other team wants to go that route. At the end of the day, if he chooses elsewhere, good luck to him moving forward and set your sights on other avenues.

  18. Jays aren't signing Tucker or Bo. They are done spending at this point. I could see a few minor league deals for bullpen guys. Those 2 signings aren't going to do much, minor league depth at best.

  19. Bo is going to Philly and Tucker is going to NY or LA.
I think Jays might be done for how much they would actually be willing to pay for either Bo or Tucker.
Unfortunately I don't think the current lineup is really much better than WS last year. I liked our lineup with Bo more even though the new signings are promising.
