I’m not hoping for Vance or anything but I don’t understand why Flores is viewed as a top tier-candidate and Vance is viewed as a poor option. Vance carried Denver to the 1st seed, isn’t suing half the league, and is loved by the players and the Cardinals org.
My biggest gripe would be if the organisation wants Vance as HC why did we just go three years of Gannon when we could have appointed Vance. He was the players and organisations choice, the only reason he didn’t get the job last time was Monti wanted to bring in his guy, why would he be ok with him now.
If Bidwill thinks this will bring the season ticket holders that cancelled after this season or bring in new season ticket holders, he is damn wrong.
I mean until Bidwill shows he wants to win, this is about the best option we can get. We’re probably the worst job in the league right now and any head coach candidate that has offers from another organization is unlikely to choose us.

I think Bidwill is doing this to gauge the fans and see how they would react, that’s why now they started reaching out to Kubiak, LaFleur, Shula, and Harbaugh.

Hiring Vance is probably the quickest way for me to hang up the cards colors. Like almost every other candidate you could at least argue potential. We know what we are getting with VJ and it’s not winning football. (I obviously could be wrong but he’d have to be so far in the “prove it” category that they’d have up make the playoffs for me to gain any hope)

Yes he’s not the best candidate, has the best record as a head coach, and there are problems I acknowledge that.
But he’s made a great defense in Denver. He’s talked about what he’s learned from Sean Payton and that his OC would be Nix’s QB coach. I don’t think that’s that bad.
