$35k is way over the top! tons of players and coaches talk about what happened during games and bad calls! SMH 🤯

I think if you say anything in the realm of “im good with the fine” the NBA will come down even harder
If he says “35k to speak the truth is cheap” when asked about it does he get fined again?
He asked for the fine and it’s pocket change for him.
>tons of players and coaches talk about what happened during games and bad calls!
Tons of players and coaches have been fined for bitching about the officiating. Hell, Jaylen knew he was going to get fined. Anthony Edwards was fined $75,000 last season, for instance.
Talk that ish, Soul Glo!
This is a speeding ticket, equivalent to someone making $100k being fined $66. It’s the fine he asked for.
it’s not insane. the fine was expected and the amount expected wsa $35,000 – I listened to Hoop Collective pod this morning and Windy, Bontempts and McMahon all said they expected $35k… what do you find insane about it?
Does this put us under the apron?
Should we set up a gofundme???
It is. Also strange, I see someone buy Twitter, fllipping out over “freedom of speech” because a post was taken down for violating rules. But never seen someone get fined 35 grand for saying something against the rules. At the same time, the entity taking 35 grand from him is the one that made it possible for him to make 55M in a year, so I guess theres no serious grievance.
NEWSFLASH
Jayson Tatum has applauded the fine and been given a tech foul despite not playing a game this season.
I don’t understand why the NBA treats refs like untouchable mob bosses
He wanted to be fined and good on him for it. He wanted to call attention to the lack of whistle he gets. He doesn’t foul grift the way others do and gets punished for it. Looking squarely at SGA contortion show on feeling contact and don’t get me started on the Hardin bitch-ass head jerk on contact.
Nah he asked for it. He was pissed and he called them out by name. That’s a big no no but he wanted it. Speak your truth man.
Far less than 1% of his salary this year, don’t sweat it
Maybe they should start holding refs accountable too.
Oh, you blatantly had 4 incorrect calls last night? 1 game suspension without pay.

Need a “Fuck the refs” chant in the Garden. Whole game. Just one game this year.
Respect for going at them.
4 freethrows when we drove to the hoop 35 times is insane. good on him for speaking out against that shit
Makes you wonder if the NBA is (through back channels) profiting off of these gambling sites and the games/ results are not pure.
Jaylen Brown and Joe Mazzulla had very different reactions after the Celtics loss to SA Spurs. Who do you believe had the most appropriate reactions and why?
Considering Jaylen makes like $300k per game after taxes I think he’ll be ok.
I’m happy he called them out .
If your officiating is good, you don’t have to outlaw the occasional player having a gripe with the occasional bad call. When your officiating is bad, you have to prevent the players from calling you out after every game.
Isn’t that completely normal and 100% expected? He started ranting about there being some conspiracy theory against him from the refs and said he’d accept the fine. This isn’t a surprise.
Worth it. Refs were atrocious. GoFundMe inbound.

Punishing people who are critical of you is a real bad look.
Wonder where that bread goes. Most likely someone who doesn’t need it.
