  1. Well whata bout Shaw? Dont think he is happy about it? Granted he isnt as elite as Raffy yet but still.. But if they trade Nico then he potentially could be our long term second baseman? But dang, itd be nice to keep Nico.. But either way Shaw is definitely not playing 3rd now..

He was heavily involved in the cheating scandal with the Houston Astros. He’s a cheater. The Cubs have a cheater on their team. He has questionable integrity. Very questionable sending that aside for the moment he solves a problem and issues that third base offensively and defensively. The Cubs bench did strengthen match shall become becomes a super utility player insurance in case you have infielders get hurt which can’t happen. The cubs finally put on their big boy pants and spent money like a team that is in the third large, just marking all baseball can do but circling back to be the integrity issue character doesn’t matter.
