  1. José Cuas was originally selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 40th round of the 2012 amateur draft but decided to go to college instead. He was later drafted by the Brewers in the 11th round in 2015. The most interesting thing about Cuas is that he started out as an infielder before converting to pitching in 2018 with Milwaukee.

The second most interesting thing about Cuas is his pair of strike-outs vs Trent Grisham on back-to-back days.

  2. I don’t know why but I just have a clear memory of Valera hitting that sac fly during that Orioles doubleheader in 2021 where they almost got no hit but then scored 11 runs in the last inning

  3. There are moments in life that catch you unawares. Where everything seems to turn on its head, and your perception of reality is forever shifted. You find yourself questioning if time is real. Wondering if reality is some kind of horrific simulation, where the people in charge can just rewrite the past whenever they choose. These things you’re being told are fact couldn’t have really happened, could they? Certainly your memory is better, isn’t it?

    We all have these moments.

Seeing Breyvic Valera in a new blue jersey is one of these moments.

  4. Remember him getting absolutely hosed on a strike call that ended the game at the trop in September 2021. The year they missed by a game.

    They had a rally brewing
