1. this won't help the flubs, especially when they trade nico. he'll like turn out to be a big waste of $, just like turner. he'll get hurt and there goes $175mil, out the window.

20. The problem with the Cubs is that they always will be a top 5 team moneymaker that will never stay as a top 5 money spender for the foreseeable future. The luxury tax excuse is the most embarrassing thing to keep on hearing from this organization. Paying top dollar for past performances is not really great with Bregman. He isn't gonna be the 2017- 2022 All Star player. He is gonna depreciate on the last three years of the contract I think badly . Lol .. I want them to do good but it will take a lot more than this to compete with the big dogs .
