1. Anybody with a half a brain knows the socks aren’t gonna go after Bo Bichette I hope Maloney doesn’t spew that crap he knows better

2. I think ownership is squeezing your balls. All these commentators are so afraid to say the truth. The socks are going dumpster dive. They’re all started with Mookie. Betts hasn’t got any better sense. This is an insult to Boston fans and I wish more people would rank on Breslow he deserves to be ran out of town for being such a sneaky, smoky liar. Just watch his face when he’s telling you a story he’s not a very good liar.

14. It makes PERFECT sense if you look from the eyes of the Cubs. The Red Sox FO simply screwed it all up. When Boras went back and said I have a better offer, the Cubs don’t like to play in the bigger longer year deals. They will not go over 6 years most of the time. When the Cubs see a good deal, they pounce right away ALOT of times simply because they lack guts to be one of the top 3 big time players. This is a great fit. Alex will age fine. There’s the DH, Shaw and Nico spell each other, spell Alex, spell Mo Baller at DH, Shaw spells Dansby and you can bet you’ll see Matt Shaw with an OF glove in spring training.

15. Hope the Sox have an awful season. Ownership doesn't deserve to have a good season after the way they've handled free agency and spending.

16. Bregman saw how fast they pulled Devers off that plane and wanted a no trade clause. Lol😅

21. Without question, Alex Bregman was the linchpin. If they went after him immediately and aggressively, they would have been fine. They have enough young players who are on the cusp of being everyday players (at 2nd).
    They will never sign Bo. Way too expensive. Bregman was the perfect fit for the next 5-6 years.
