  9. Zion would be awesome. Elite talent and he can still play at a high level, unstopabble offensive player. Not sure if the Pelicans will trade him now, the reports suggest they might keep him and it makes sense since they don’t have their pick this season. I would be willing to include one young guy or a protected 1st round pick for Zion.

    There’s way more risks in a Ja trade imo. He’s playing terribly bad and it’s still uncertain if he can be atleast 85% of the player he once was. He looks to be more obtainable right now and he might get moved for expiring contracts. If that’s the case i think it’s worth the risk.

  11. You can’t have Bam, Ware and Ja on the same team. Period. So, the only way Herro for Ja works (and I’d argue that’s an overpay in itself) you’d need to also rebuild by trading one of the two previously mentioned bigs.

    Then, a year from now you can cry in your cafecitos when Giannis actually becomes available and the Heat doesn’t have any trade assets left or Giannis says, “the Heat without Bam? No thanks.”

  14. The only way I see them trading for Ja is that shitty package I mentioned the other day. Rozier, Jovic, Fontecchio and nothing else. Thats not happening and Herro for Ja is definitely not happening.

    Ja is not the same player he was a few years ago, can he turn back into that? Maybe but in this instance you dont pay for a maybe.

  15. If the pelicans are trading Zion, he’s my first choice. I don’t think they will and Dumars/Borrego being new to their organization gives them less impetus. He’s additionally not a problem child like ja is. Getting pornstars pregnant doesnt carry the same risks as arguing heavily with the new hc.

    But yes we absolutely need ja morant 100% I’m worried the Timberwolves are going to get him tho
