I would rather have a proven edge in free agency as well as starting center. Draft left tackle 1st round and d tackle 2nd round

QBs have all day vs the lions. If we don’t take a DE we are cooked again. You can put up 28 ppg and have the 4th best offense and you aren’t winning shit ranked 22nd in ppg allowed.

I don’t remember Kiper ever getting a Lions draft pick correct unless we drafted 1st or 2nd and it was obvious who we were taking. You can’t ever tell with Brad Holmes because this is a guy who loves wasting picks on players 2-3 rounds earlier than they should go. Guys will be on everyone else’s draft board around the 5th round, Holmes will trade up to get him in the 3rd. Because of course he’s smarter than all those guys. Name 1 late round player besides St Brown his first year drafting that has hit? Name me one. Total 🤡 moves. So it’s hard to rationalize internally what they’re going to do when you’re dealing with irrational people who refuse to be swayed from their own destructive way of thinking.
