It’s honestly RIDICULOUS at this point…

if bo leaves the jays i have lost my respect for him , proves he is a douche only in it for the money
Do the Phillies have enough to land him considering what the need to pay and give up because they were over salary cap last year
Trade berrios and get mad max and bassist for relief and sign Bo. Done.
Bo cant run or field, let him go.
If Dave Dombrowski wants someone he normally signs them.
I hope they miss out on both guys
Yes
Bo is not a great player he is an above average player. 3.5 WAR last season and the year before -0.3. For a SS this is just not very good. He is in his prime.
Yes
If youre signing Bo make it a short term deal 3-4 years
Hes an injury liability and not worth anywhere near the money he is asking
Let the big bucks position players go elsewhere. The Jays have a solid starting rotation and a solid offence and a solid defence. What they need now is solid bullpen, which means getting another top tier arm like Chafin or Miller. The Jays have the finances or the pieces to trade to make a deal like this , and then they would contenders again. This option would also cost a lot less money.
No . Long term deals become an anchor on the team after the first few years . Great example is Mookie Betts 12-year, $365 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Dodgers running through the 2032 season. The Dodgers can eat his contract but I doubt the Jays can eat an contract like that .
I wish they can also resign France. IKF. s.dominguez and And don't forget Lauer
He shouldn’t go to the dodgers or Jays, spread the wealth for goodness sakes
I have a question for you who run this page. Are you getting to the point to where you just don't want to report anything until they actually sign on the dotted line with whatever team they signed with? Honestly I'm getting tired of all the rumors I just want to see something done..
I wouldn't sign Tucker to ANY deal unless there's a corresponding trade of Barger for an ace or deuce or a bullpen stud, never mind 9 years. The issue is the same as it always was…you're paying Tucker for the difference in production between him and Barger's upside. Why pay more for what you essentially already have? We're not talking MVP-calibre production from Tucker here.
Yes
I dont really follow baseball… but all this hype reminds me of when toronto was hyping up getting Ohtani, just to lead to disappointment.
don't go down the rabbit hole of guesses.
Beat writers need things to write about so they just make shit up. It’s exhausting.
Bo was gone when they got Gimenez. Y’all need to get over the emotional connection to him. He’s not coming back.
All of this speculation is getting pretty old. I am at the point where I hope all of these players sign with someone else.
Jays being used again yall
Yesterday Michael Wilbon said this of Tucker, "he ain't worth what he's asking for!" – while speaking on his Cubs making the Bregman deal. I'm not saying Wilbon is the end-all-be-all of player evaluations but he is often correct, been a fan of MLB since he could breath in a massive baseball city. He watched Tucker NOT get the job done when it mattered most – whiffing under the Mendoza line when the team had a runner(s) in scoring position while occupying an important run production spot, NOT able to find that hit with two strikes and a weak batting average that lead to soft power numbers.
Yes
If you can't hit 30 jacs and 100 RBI's every year – you ARE NOT worth 400 million.
*UNLESS – you swipe 35 bags and hit over .300, top 3 in doubles and runs scored … every year!
yes, give kyle tucker all of the not my money
I hope they sign Bo and not Tucker. Paying $300 to $400 million for a guy who regularly disappears in the playoffs doesn't make sense to me. In the last seven playoff series he's played in, he's only batted above .200 twice and never above .300. over those seven playoff series he's only driven in a total of seven runs and five of those came in one game off of Aaron Nola when he was only averaging around 91 mph on his fastball. He only has three career home runs off of fastballs over 97 mph. The average velocity on a fastball in high leverage situations in the playoffs over the last couple years is 97.8.
yes
Just some more rumors and innuendos.
I don’t get it why can’t the blue jays offer him a short term deal if that’s what he ends up wanting
Jays land Bo, Mets sign tucker
