The Blue Jackets also fired Head Coach Dean Evason today. Maybe with the hiring of Rick Bowness (Winnipeg Jets coach from 2022-24) things will turn around in Columbus.
I knew Steve when the Blackhawks first drafted him. He was always the first one in the door for practice. Injuries and the organization really derailed his NHL career. I really hope he finds another coaching opportunity soon .
