  1. So Patriots – Texans and Bills – Broncos.

Obviously Bills > Broncos, and I don’t have much of a dog in the other matchup. I think I favor Texans > Patriots, because

    a)ew Patriots

b)Drake Maye discourse is going to become *bad* if he makes or wins a SB

c)The closest the Texans ever got to an AFC Championship *appearance* was 24-0, so it’d be fun to see a fresh face there.

On the NFC side, I am just hoping for fun games. Niners I have a soft spot for because of Joe Montana, and I feel bad for crushing their dreams twice, but I’ve nothing against Seattle, either. Bears/Rams either team is fun – Caleb’s redemption and Chicago hasn’t won anything in 40 years, for the Rams I like Stafford and McVay padding their legacy.

Besides, the Rams have made the Super Bowl every year that the Chiefs haven’t in the entire Patrick Mahomes era, why change that now?

  2. I find the Josh Allen discourse honestly hilarious. You can’t make excuses for a guy not winning the big one who isn’t even the best player on his side of the ball. His team is plenty talented enough to win a Super Bowl. If you’re the player pundits say you are, go get it done.

  3. Tyler Allgeier is the RB1 we need. Guy is a beast without a lot of miles on him. If the Falcons don’t re-sign him I’d do it in a heart beat.

  4. Texans have the talent to win the Super Bowl this season. They manhandled the Steelers even with 3 turnovers from Stroud. And considering the Patriots only scored 16 vs a worse Chargers defense I think they’re walking into a buzzsaw. People also forget that they’re 12-2 in the last 14 games. Partially because of that and partially because of the lights out defense, this Texans team reminds me the most of last year’s Eagles.

For Steelers fans, I understand the frustration with Tomlin now. If you’re not going to win a Super Bowl you may as well suck enough to get blue chip players in the draft. But Tomlin drags them to that purgatory spot every year and never lets them improve.

  5. Waking up after seeing the Eagles, Chargers, and Steelers all lose playoff games over the weekend:

  6. Well, now we know for sure the matchups…

BUF vs. DEN: BUF, but the donks can play some D. Might be close.

SF vs. SEA: SEA in a down-to-the-wire type game. SF is banged up but division matches in the playoffs make for weird stuff.

HOU vs. NE: HOU for me here. I know Stroud looked bad last night but that defense is the real deal.

LAR vs. CHI: LAR only because how many more comebacks can the Bears pull outta their butts actually?

  7. Absolute fantastic weekend for hate watching. The only blunder were the Bills winnings, but every other team that I wanted to lose ended up losing.

  8. Anyone other than the Bills and you can throw Tony Romo in there too. What a douche 🥶

  9. Throwing this out there, don’t downvote me, bro.

How about having Rodgers as Mahomes’ backup (if his ego would allow it?) that way the team can hit the season with a half ass decent QB ’til Mahomes comes back?

More than likely Rodgers ain’t going back to Pittsburgh, and Tomlin is either stepping down or being fired.

Also if Spagnuolo leaves maybe hire Tomlin as DC?

  10. anyone know why we haven’t requested to interview anyone to my knowledge for oc? kinda weird seeing so many other teams do so and we’re just sitting idle
