Why’d he sound confused when he said “scores”?
He’s such an interesting one. Somehow a 7th rounder even though he was USNTDP and wasn’t an overager. The reports I saw was that he projected to be a 4th liner. Gritty high motor player. I don’t think anyone expected this kind of offensive potential from him. The fact he almost made the US WJC team alone was a massive endorsement. I expect him to be on that team next year at the rate he’s going.
Not gonna say he’s some star prospect, but he does seem like a guy who has a good shot to make it to the NHL, and for a 7th rounder that’s a massive win. Great pick in what’s shaping up to be a franchise changing draft.
