  1. 21 of his 29 home runs were off the short porches of Yankee Stadium & Steinbrenner field. Boras loves his guys becoming Yankees prior to free agency bc short porch turns mediocre players into All Stars & often hall of famers. I don’t get the love for a guy Dodgers dumped, cubs paid to leave.

  2. You made a good point about the Yankees not winning with Bellinger. Bellinger had really nice stats and Judge was MVP again and they couldn't even win the division.

  3. I don't think there is going to be a team to offer him significantly more than 160M over 5 years with no deferrals. It would be best for Bellinger to stay with the Yankees because of that short porch too. Yankees are calling his bluff. MAYBE some team gives him 6 for 175M

  4. Gossage’s top salary would adjust to 5.7 million a year, or 25% of Edwin Diaz’s 20.4 million last year. One other difference is that MLB has much better revenue streams now than it did in the 70’s and 80’s. All things considered, it looks about right.

  5. Cody Bellinger is an excellent player and had a very nice season for the Yankees in 2025. He's excellent on defense and seems to be a good guy. $37 million a year until he is 38 years old? (his B'day is July 13, 1995) is simply ridiculous. CODY BELLINGER IS NOT WORTH THE $30 MILLION PER YEAR THAT THE YANKEES HAVE OFFERED.

  6. Scott Boras sometimes overshoots the runway at the expense of his clients. The less bidders you have the lower the offers.
It is amusing though hearing fans fret about how much wealthy owners spend. These same fans have this supernatural ability to predict how many years a player will be good.

  7. It’s sad. Schwarber got 30. Pete got 31. Bregman got 35. There is no taking into account that not all players and positions are created equal. Cody wants 37 just because the last guy got 35.😂

  8. I don’t understand why the Yankees would want a player who is atrocious in the playoffs. He strikes out 34% of the time in October compared to 22% in the regular season.. and it’s not a small sample size. It’s 270 at bats. You could sign Enrique Hernandez for 8 million and he is guaranteed to put up better stats in the playoffs.

  9. David just look at the Toronto Blue 500 million for Valdy why because he is the glue and smile that helps childern dream my only dissapointment as i coash in little league is players wearing lbs of gold around there neck yet DADDY HAS A HARD TIME TAKING HIS CHIDERN TO A GAME LET THAT SINK IN but like you have said you never experance that did you at least you man up about it witch i respect….sorry about my grammare.Just venting and yes our family ,well our grandson and i watch and yes he brings up up hay opa why can they waer chains and i cant well Noah haves and have nots

  10. I'm wondering if there's any team even in the Yankees offer range? It seems both sides need each other, but somehow Boras is going to get the Yankees to pay even more than the $160MM rumored. As for Goose, he's kind of replaced Bob Feller as the grumpy HOFer tilting at windmills. I like Goose because he speaks his mind, even if he says some crazy things. He's really pissed at Cashman because the Yankees banished Goose from Spring Training and Old Timer's Day invites because of some of those crazy things.

  11. 'Someone could do it'… after looking at the appendix of that binder and falling in love with the table showing 'adjusted for ballpark' projections.
