Thank god. He realized that there are limits to personal loyalty, and those limits are reached when you turn Herbert into someone who doesn’t trust the offense and relies on hero ball. Hero ball is necessary sometimes, but not as the basis of the offense.

I have a weird feeling he might hire Arthur smith I hope it’s not the case but he did hire Roman so.

Is the next guy going to be Herbert’s 4th OC? I remember when Roman was signed a couple years ago and I knew this was going to happen.

It’s pretty encouraging that Jim was okay with these moves. I get being loyal but loyalty to the team has to come first and that was demonstrated today.
I don’t know why anyone thought he wouldn’t get rid of guys if they weren’t up to snuff. He had no problem getting rid of guys at Michigan when things weren’t working.
What this man did with the hand that was dealt this team this year, well, I can only applaud. Not to mention the grit and sandpaper he’s added to these boys by dragging them through this adversity and showing them who they are and, most of all, who they can be. His absolute faith in Herbert is inspirational, I can only imagine how he talks to and manages each and every player on his team but by the results I’m going to go ahead and say they love him. Next season with all of his weapons back? I’m damn excited to see it.
Made the playoffs two years in a row with a makeshift offensive line to say the least this year. I’m happy with the progress and the morale of the team.
