Jazz are currently averaging 30.1 assists per game as a team, which would break the single-season franchise record that was set in the John Stockton Era

  1. That’s honestly awesome. And they’re actually making fewer field goals per game this year than they did in 87-88 so it’s not just a pace thing.

  2. Props to the players, but man Will Hardy is such a good coach. Punches way above his weight class.

  3. That team averaged 17.8 TOV/100 (6th worst) and this team averages 15.3 (11th worst) so there’s that too

  4. Which goes to show that they don’t have a single player that can generate shots on their own. Assists is one category of statistics where too many and too few can be a problem. Sixty percent is the target in the NBA. That is, 60% of made field goals should be assisted for a competitive team.

  5. I’m very surprised the 2020-21 season is not on here considering the level of ball movement the team had all season was amazing
