The fact that last year's draft class is still in question falls squarely on Carroll and his stubbornness on playing his favorites and not giving the the young players the opportunity to compete. Carroll's BS of Compete, compete only applied to players which he disliked from the beginning. It's not Spitek's fault his players did not play. Once they got their opportunity, however brief it was proved Carroll was holding them back.

  26. The problems with the Raiders is there Offense. I bring in HC My n# 2 Klint Kubiak if we n#1 draft is Mendoza, N#1 John Harbaugh proven HC would have top defense and would need top n#1 QB in draft Mendoza . n#3 Mike McDaniel would bring our Offense top in NFL scoring would have to draft n#1 Mendoza. N#4 Brain Daboll would have Raiders good at QB with rookie N#1 Mendoza. N# 5 Kevin Stefanski would work with Mendoza at QB. N#6 Robert Saleh would have Raiders defense ready but Offense will be the problem still. N#7 Mike Tomlin the defense would play hard the offense will be the problem. I'd go with Kubiak and Mendoza get our offense clicking.

  37. 11:12 I hear you but I disagree. Webb got where he is without having someone to lean on. Why are we so willing to pick a lineage player who is insufficient to a Raider mindset who is determined and doesn't quit and does it without lineage assistance?!
    Webb is smarter, stronger, and more capable than any of the others. He will learn what he needs to know quicker and with more skill because he's figuring it out for himself.

  38. 11:54 ok so you just admitted that the Oline of today is different….you see the problem with lineage? A coach getting advice from his dad on how to do his job based on his dads experience with players from 10years ago?

    Webbs father was a high school coach. Webb has already exceeded that level. I believe that he did learn how to BE a coach from him, rather than just learning how to coach. Its a hairline difference, but it's a difference between Raider and not Raider worthy if you ask me.

  39. DO NOT TRADE DOWN! We have 2nd maybe even 1st cap space. Draft Mendoza and sign an old school Al Davis style Goon filled OLine! Get Spillane back and a couple secondary pieces and we're strapped! We Can Not Give Up Mendoza! He's a stud!
