7. Tomlin’s biggest problem was hiring OCs and DCs. He inherited LeBeau which was fine but after he retired they had some shitty DCs and some real shitty OCs – Todd Haley, Randy Fictner, Matt Canada, Arthur Smith were some of his OCs. Never heard of them? Exactly – they all sucked.

Just in case you guys don't understand NFL contracts and rules…Tomlins rights to be a team employee of any kind still belong to The Steelers… Tomlin didn't get fired which would cancel his last 2 seasons under contract but he stepped down/retired….That means Tomlin CAN'T take any kind of job with any other team other then the Steelers….Example, If Tomlin wanted to be The Dolphins head coach The Steelers must approve it and receive compensation that they want… So if the Steelers say to the Dolphins, Hey we want Tyrek Hill and two first round draft picks..The Dolphins must fulfill that demand because Tomlin is still under contract with the Steelers….Another example, If you believe the since there is only two years on his current contract and he can wait two years and be free…Nope !!! Wrong, The second Tomlin says he is back and ready to coach those two years restart then and he owes the Steelers two years of service or Another team must comply with what the Steelers want….So in other words…Tomlin is a Steelers until the Steelers say so…Sorry Miami…

21. No coach is saving the Dolphins. Only QB 1 TUA can save the organization next season. He comes back motivated and back training with Nick Hicks and leads the league in passing. Dolphins make a run to the SB.. trade Achane for a 2nd and 4th as his stock will never be any higher for an 180lb RB. Draft a #1 WR to compliment Waddle. TUA is under contract for next year. Who says u need a total rebuild. If TUA does not work out he is off the books in 2027 with a manageable cap hit. Need to see TUA with a new coach and offense before you get rid of him. The same reason Darnold.. Baker and Daniel jones got better with new coaches . TLAW got getter under a new coach this year. Why give up so fast when he is under contract next year?
