  1. My p*nis will stop working before the Nets win a championship. The Nets organization prioritizes drafting projects who haven’t proven themselves yet instead of keeping & signing already proven stars.

The Nets could trade MPJ for the #1 Pick & tank low enough to get the #2 Pick in the 2026 NBA Draft & they still wouldn’t win anything.

  2. Dumb question, but why not extend MPJ and not look to trade him? He’s a great player and good locker room guy so why not try to lock him long term? His ability is known whereas draft assets (except for the generational guys that come out ie Flagg, LeBron etc) are uncertain.

  3. There's no way Sean Marks is taking on Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma, both 30 and both with several years left on their deals. GS makes more sense, but I would want 3 FRPs, or 2 and Podzeimski. If they get MPJ GS is going to compete for a title, and their pick will suck.

  4. What? If we trade MPJ we want to remain competitive? So we should get Zach Lavine? Thank god you guys aren't running the Nets. If you trade MPJ the idea is to TANK! You don't want to "remain competitive", you want the best odds at a top 3 draft pick. And why would I want Lavine who hasn't worked out in several stops? MPJ is working out great right now and he's only 27. Lavine is 30!

  5. I couldn't imagine playing a 82 game season knowing the fans don't want you to win! I would be vomiting blood after 10 games of tanking as a competitor

  6. The nets wasted 4 first round pick last year, they should have traded 2 to later years or 2 first round for a higher pick or to a losing team for their 1st round future pick. How are their 4 first rounders doing. Basketball it’s all about the top 3 to make a difference or top 10 to be a good rotation player

  7. The best scenario that i heard was keeping MPJ till the summer to see how are lottery pick is because if the Nets end up with a pick outside the top 4 then we may need to keep MPJ to try and win games also i don’t think he wouldn’t fit with Cameron boozer or AJ Dybantsa or Caleb Wilson but i do think MPJ would be a good fit with Darryn Peterson so it really does depend on the draft pick the Nets get

  8. I don’t get why people want to keep mpj, he’s at his highest trade value ever and doesn’t fit our timeline. And to those who think we’ll win now MPJ was the 3rd or 4th option on a championship team so what you guys want us to be up there with the bulls heat and hawks, a play in team who never makes it past the 1st round
