If Tuck is starting a new family his best option is longer term in Toronto, no contest. Bo can walk, i dont want to pay 300M for a weaker infield.
One of the big reasons for a longer term deal is being able to insure that lengthier contract against a career ending injury, disability, etc. Its very important but often overlooked when we discuss these deals.
Honestly I could care less at this point if they resign Boba shed or sign Kyle Tucker as far as I'm concerned it's a bunch of crap and I'm totally happy with the team that they're going to be Fielding this year. With the where is going with Tucker the Jays would probably sign him and he would get injured and spend three quarters of the season on the IL.
As a Jay's, I am not frustrated at all. After the Okamoto signing everything else is gravy. It's not my $ but the luxury tax will be huge.

Why would the Blue Jays pay that much for Tucker when they can use that money and get 2 or 3 very good players
