1. What a game though!
   This had playoff vibes. A real goalie’s duel, ..well until the officials seemingly couldn’t find their whistles. Clifton was an absolute monster! Geno coming up clutch after Letang picked Guenzel’s pocket. Then 5 minutes of nonstop 3v3 overtime. I can’t be mad at it. The penguins went toe to toe with the best team in the east and stayed with them the whole game, even when trapped in their own zone. They keep playing like this, the goals will come and the W’s will follow. 😶

3. What a blow to our team knowing Karlsson is out for at least 2 week. You are correct DK, he's been the player we have been waiting on! This game was so fun! Man, playoffs all over it AND we kept with the best team in the east no problem. Great team effort and my hat off to you Geno, heeeeeeee's back!!!! Lol Have a wonderful day DK. Blessings, Victor 🇨🇦 🍁

4. I would liken a shoot out attempt against Silovs to bowling with the bumpers up.

5. The slide continues. 3 in a row now that have been lost.a new streak began. They can’t be consistent!

6. Criticizing Silovs for his shootout performance is well deserved, but for the love of all that is holy, can we have some turnover over on the shooters? Sid has been terrible at them for quite some time now.

7. Former football (soccer) goalie here. Penalty shootouts are ridiculously easy there. Get off the right kind of shot off and you physically CANNOT make a save.

For all the EK haters that point out his every little defensive lapse or mistake, theyre about to see the difference that EK actually makes, not just in OT and on the PP, but how important he is along the blue line in the offensive zone. From the simple keep ins, the shot passes, the shots on goal for rebounds, and how much he loves to jump in the rush to create offense and odd man breaks for the offense.

   Hes been a totally different player this year, and hes contributed a lot to our offense even when hes not collecting points. Just the threat of having him there forces teams to pay attention to him and opens the ice for others. Its a big loss for driving the offense

9. So, Silovs has been scored on 11 of 16 SO shots. How many of those 5 "stops" were actual saves vs just missing the net by the shooter?

10. For this team to win they have to play a near perfect playoff style, grind for sixty minutes type hockey. I think that style, the schedule, and the age of the core is showing that wear and tear. Even Sid looks off the last three games. Plus when Geno came back, Muse played with a few lines. Hopefully it’s a bump in the road and not another streak.

11. I've figured it out: you're either EK's mother or you're auditioning for the next season of "Heated Rivalry". My guess is the second.

12. Team is inconsistent and not a true contender.

13. You go way too hard on silovs. Is there some European heritage beef we dont know about or something? Kid is a rookie goalie and you treat him like hes a vet of 15 years and cant improve or change. If it was Sergi with an issue you'd sing a different tune

14. I'm still laughing…besides rebound control, handling the puck, and shootouts…Silovs is ACES!

15. DK – I understood having Geno on the wing with Kindel, but I'm not sure why he's on the wing with Novak. I've read some people think he's on wing because his shoulder isn't well enough to take draws. Have you heard anything to that nature? All that to be said, we need the mutant line back together and I think Novak/Kindel/Chinakhov would be a strong line.

17. Karlsson is not what he used to be. Fine. He’s made enough good plays to cover the gaffs. He did patent the “Karlsson”, where you wait long enough at the blue line to shoot the puck off the skates of a savvy forward for the resulting breakaway.
