Breer Explains Why the Chargers Are a BAD Matchup for the Patriots

Albert Breer says this matchup favors the Chargers because the Patriots can’t take advantage of L.A.’s biggest weakness — its injured offensive line. He adds that Derwin James is the X-factor, and believes a healthy Chargers team has the better roster and defense overall.

  1. Yeah, they came to Gillette last year and played well because we had a horrible team last year. Anybody would’ve came in and played well. We had four wins. They’re not coming in here like that this year.

  2. Who the hell is next to Albert? Do they know anything other than I like the patch so they’re better than everybody? I think he’s gonna find out a lot about Derwin James and Daiyan Henley. Chargers have played Spillane for year with the Raiders. He’s not terrible but Henley is so much better and has proven it against WAY better competition. I love this matchup for the Chargers and I hope they show the world what they can do without two of the top 10 O-tackles in the league.

  3. Don’t care how good the team is in the season. Playoff is anybody game. Chargers this season without a healthy Oline can proof go toe to toe with any team any given day. If the Oline can held up just 80% and offense can score at least 20 points or more NE will get the awakening. Can’t wait for Sunday ⚡️⚡️⚡️

  4. The Patriots had to play who was on their schedule … This is absolutely no different…. you line up across the next and play football… no stories… no excuses…. .. should be a good game.. as they say.. only gets harder as you advance….

  5. I think Albert Breer (or whoever the dude on the right is) might be the smartest Patriots fan there is 😂. Everyone else is either ignoring facts or is desperate for the dynasty to come back. This dude is the only one I’ve heard that’s actually laying out the facts and thinking objectively and not just acting like a fanatic in an echo chamber.

  6. Chargers rightfully smacked a Mayo coached team not trying to dismiss them laying BTA on us but why are we dismissing the dumpster fire of a team we had last year as well

  7. I agree that the Chargers are a bad matchup for the Patriots, and you should never underestimate Justin Herbert’s ability to choke in the playoffs.

  8. There’s a reason the Chargers rested all their starters & lost on purpose in week 18 to get this matchup… Breer is right, the Chargers defense matches up extremely well with our offense. Too many people writing off the Chargers solely because of the “seeding” position… Pats better be ready
