  1. Whether you think Tucker is coming to Toronto or not, BNS dropping a line like "The Mets and Dodger should be scared" is very uncharacteristic of him and likely indicates a deal between the two sides could be potentially close.

  2. Question is, does he want a good team chemistry or just a gun for hire. Semien knows that. Well paid bounced around player. Money ๐Ÿ’ฐ is the only object. ๐Ÿ˜ข

  3. The Tucker and Bichette markets are very high and Jays going over the cap by a lot is real. Is 29 yr old, often injured Tucker so vastly superior to 30 yr old Bellinger? Bellinger had a healthy year, 29 HR, BA .277, SB 13, RBI 98, plays a good defense and played 152 games. Tucker projects better overall but they are both very good if healthy (?). OF Bellinger can be a good alternative, and he can back-up first base as well.

  4. Although I believe in a free market and capitalism, this salary negotiation is an example of its flaws and exposes the growing gap between the wealthy and average people. The money we are talking about is just plain absurd.

  5. Move on all smoke and mirrors 50 million a year he's not that good he has what 9 hits and 5 rbi's in the playoffs ya he's awesome lol not worth the ink on the contract

  6. All sound and fury signifying. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
A whole host of so-called analysts (including the dubious Ken Rosenthal) have been cited as "authoritative" sources.
Jays Nation as this late stage is not interested in leaks.
