Is the Cleveland Browns job a MORE ATTRACTIVE OPENING than the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Not even 24 hours after his team suffered its latest playoff disappointment, getting trounced at home in the wild-card round by the Houston Texans, Mike Tomlin is stepping down as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers after 19 seasons − none of the sub-.500 variety. It ends the longest active marriage between an organization and HC.
Pittsburgh becomes the ninth franchise in need of a new head coach in what’s still an unfolding hiring cycle. The Steelers’ next hire will become just their fourth coach since 1969, Tomlin preceded by Hall of Famers Chuck Noll and Bill Cowher, that trio bringing six Lombardi Trophies to the Steel City. | https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/columnist/nate-davis/2026/01/13/nfl-coaching-jobs-openings-ranked-best-worst-steelers-mike-tomlin/88162972007/

Pittsburgh is by far the more attractive position. Look at how they stick with their coaches, something the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Media are completely incapable of comprehending. Keeping coaches drives culture which leads to a successful organization. Look at what Cleveland did to Stefanski, the first coach to win a playoff game in over 2 decades and the best record since Shottenheimer (even when he was saddled by the anchor of the Watson contract).
Baltimore, then Pittsburgh, then Cleveland lol even tho I believe Cleveland is a better city than Pittsburgh.
Bull keeps trying to entrap G BUSH with foolishness. G keeps swerving like this isn’t about to be about you Bull. G know he doing good and won’t be torn down by haters. And I really liked Bull but it’s clear what he is doing here. Stop. G never said any craziness with your name in it. The fans gonna be the fans.
Don’t let history determine your answer to this question.
Either the Steelers new coach brings more of the same and gets fired for that or Pittsburgh is going into a hard rebuild and who knows what happens there. They obviously have a much better offense with a notably worse defense.
The Browns are already in the middle of their rebuild, and it’s off to a great start with our defense and most recent rookie class. They need to heavily upgrade the offense (duh), but the early picks they’ve recently invested there look promising and we have plenty of picks to upgrade with this year.
Both of these teams need a quarterback, so that’s a wash.
My main point being, even if you don’t think the Browns are a better job than the Steelers, it’s not that far apart, but there is certainly a strong case to be made for the Browns being better and I would make that case. A massive change after 19 years was never gonna bode well for even the most stable of organizations.
Pittsburgh has so much salary Cap money in the next few years….
Hey G…nobody axed you…!!!
Browns is more attractive. Steelers have an old roster, no QB, no draft capital, management that is too afraid to make a change.
Browns opening is much better…especially in the short-term! Tons of draft picks coming up, great defense, tons of salary cap will be opening up…and Haslam will spend! Steelers have an old roster as well….
BULL IS AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT!! S.T.F.U
Why is Bull- a hopeless Cincy homer- on this show? He's a toad…
CAN THE CAMERA MAN STOP DOING CLOSE UPS OF BULL, WERE DISCUSSED BY HIS LOOK!!
🍻 TO DUSTIN FOR SHUTTING BULL UP!! 🎉
The head coach of the Cleveland Browns will be Grant Udinski. And with our 6th pick we’re drafting (the QB who is possibly the best in this draft in reading defenses pre/post snap) – Ty Simpson, unless for some reason Dante Moore shakes free and we move up and bank on his age and development
Dude ravens not hiring him 😂yu fuckin high
I do not want Schwartz as the HC. No retreads or oldheads
A bad coach will change the Steelers culture. They had Cowher and Tomlin. The Browns have not nailed the Coach. Butch Davis was closest to it and they fired him too early. Coaching matters. These people never speak on the right things.
Good grief guys this should not have been a discussion. If not for the fact the Browns head coaching job will pay well, it would be less attractive than most college opening.
Thankfully, Haslam is willing to spend like a drunken sailor, with the intelligence level of a drunken sailor.
Remind me again why Bull is on here? Is he at all supportive of any Cleveland teams? Is this the Ultimate Cincinnati sports show?
Bulls Needs to stop hating on the Browns
UGH! Bull wants to argue about everything. Show your co workers some respect
