This could just be for compliance so they can say it’s a fair hiring process.
It’s weird to see a position like this just posted online but I guess it’s nice to see the new ownership expanding the staff and not shrinking it.
Does being a fan got 36 years, and a beer league player for 12 county for experience?
Interesting. I would have expected this to be akin to an executive search then a public job posting.
Maybe they want an expanded candidate pool, and not have it be influenced by current personnel.
Personally I hope they hire TK but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I honestly find it kind of strange that a team posted job opening for an assistant coach online. I always kind of thought hiring a coach was like an internal thing, not a public thing lol. Also they already have like a lot of established assistant coaches, so I wonder what this is about. They already have Rich Clune, Bonino, Mike Stothers, and Todd Nelson.
I am looking for a job! Sure, I have zero qualifications (except maybe hyping up down trodden college kids) but I’m a fast learner—we can start with the ice skating!
(No but really, I need a job-job)
I’m forklift certified I think I’ll make the cut
The guy who sat behind me at the game last night in 231 would make for an excellent candidate

I played a ton of NHL ’95 back in the day. I am more than qualified. Hire me, Pens.

I used to oversee, conduct, and validate training while writing training scenarios in the Army.
Not sure Land Navigation, or Combat Life Saver (at least I hope not), or enter and clear a building is applicable to the Pens, but hey, I’m here.
