Welp I tried. I tried to shift the blame away from bozeman (rightfully towards becton) when bozeman finally stacked up the best 5 game streak of his tenure after the bye. But now when you do this and get my qb hurt, its gotta be properly documented. Its actually quite literally poetic that he saves the worst rep of his tenure for the very last play there, leaving herbert and the season dead

Crazy how in an elimination game, our starting interior, still plays worse than the backup tackles 🙃. Becton and bozeman will be following roman out the door soon

  1. Real talk, when was the last time the Chargers fielded an OLine that didn’t include a player that was ranked virtually last in the league? Like how the hell can we not get 5 players that are at the very least below average? Someone (if not multiple players) always has to be the worst

  2. I think first play is more on Zion. He got pushed back 5 yards within half a second. Last play also partly on Zion. He should have recognized more quickly that his guy was falling back and help Bozo after he got beat.

    Saying this I haven’t seen many Centers fall on his ass as much as I’ve seen Bozo.

    Send both of them into the center of a volcano. Zion hasnt been awful, but he would cost way too much for what he provides when we can sign or draft someone better.

  4. Dear all the people who were complaining that all Andre James did when he played was get blown back into Herbert’s lap. I do encourage you to look at this and tell me how this is better. Rather have the guy blown back but on his feet than blown back and on his ass.

  6. Bozeman doesn’t have good playing strength and cannot anchor. He gets his shoulders over his toes and is caught lunging way too often, and is often off-balance to the point his own inertia is easily used against him.

    The fact that he is caught out of position so often is an indictment on the O line coach as much as it is Bozeman just sucking.

  8. Next season I want Alt, Slater and maybe Salyer back. I don’t want any of these other guys.

    And no I am absolutely not convinced in Zion, let someone else pay for him to miss stunts. We’d get a decent comp pick.

  9. The Tackles did their job every snap, Becton and Bozeman are complete bums and Zion is only a bum 75% of the time. They should not sniff anywhere near this roster come July.

  11. Out of those 5 or 6 plays, Zion looks like absolute shit. I think he only had one guy he blocked correctly, but some people want to sign this dude to a massive contract…🤦🏻‍♂️

    The entire IOL can be shot into the sun, including shitty ass Zion.

    Herbert is practically a God for carrying this O line to the playoffs. He seemed mentally off but he got physically wrecked this game and his pass catchers weren’t doing him any favors.

    I love Herbert and I think we will find postseason success with him very soon

  19. Just rewatched this multiple times. Anyone shittin on Zion for this trippin. Only play he fucks up is the first one getting beat on the bull rush.

  21. I’m not gonna pretend I really know the intricacies of playing OL, but even I can tell his mechanics are garbage. He’s completely off balance half the time he makes contact with the defender. The second and fourth clips the defender punches him in the chest and he flails like a video game character. This is comical stuff.

  23. I don’t understand how starting James could have been any worse. Like Bozeman was ranked dead last 41 out of 41 last. Even if james ranked 40 out of 41 it would be an improvement

    How the fuck are you both constantly fooled and physically out of position on almost EVERY single play.

    Really want to know the reason this coaching staff refused to give up on Bozo. He is beneath rock bottom

    It is so embarrassing that our OL can’t even hold the pocket long enough for Vidal to get to his *2 yard gain* check down mark. Kimani runs a total of 6-7 yards.

    When Vidal turns around at his mark, Herbert is already side stepping pressure. No wonder Ladd and Keenan can’t finish their routes or get open.
