  1. Just wondering why they waited 19 ish weeks for him to have the surgery, although it is roughly 6 or so month recovery time so he will definitely be ready for week 1, just curious about the thought process of the managing lol

  2. He was not the same player as last year. He looked noticeably slower and even more hesitant towards contact which is saying something because he was already super scared of it

I hope he can improve because I actually like his chances of developing into a guy that can beat man coverage over Rice’s.

Needs to get A LOT stronger. Hopefully the new receiver coach teaches him better releases and how to sharpen his route cuts because he flashes some really nice routes at timesz

  3. Damn, poor kid, that’s a painful injury. Like honestly should have gotten surgery right away. I know they were scared to lose a weapon another year… but like instead he played poorly all year. All in all, you risked his long term health as well as his confidence. Now he will be late to training camp and not in his best shape.

  4. And the crowd went mild… I’m pretty ready to just start over on our receiving core. The only reason I don’t want it is we need other positions even more.

  5. The list of active receivers who weren’t very good their first 2 years and then became really good in year 3 or 4 is pretty low. Most receivers these days flash something serious in either year 1 or year 2. But there are a couple of guys who took a long time to get going. Davante Adams and Cooper Kupp come to mind.
