I never thought a Dodgers catcher could replace my favorite Dodgers catcher of all time, Mike Piazza, but Will Smith has done it. He plays the position better than Piazza did and has been so clutch in playoffs year after year. I don’t think he’s underrated by national media, but I think he’s the best catcher in baseball.
