Silovs is .313 in the shootout. Using him is basically an auto-loss. Fearing cold Skinner costing you a shootout is not a concern, because Silovs was gonna lose anyway.
Skinner is .552 career in the shootout. Odds are he does better, even if marginally.
And like DK said, you can start warming up Skinner well before the shootout happens.
