I will not be "thinking whistfully" of tomlin.
Flores or Mike McCarthy! All those pieces he mentioned is replaceable! Get W.R 2 and sign Malik Willis! They got Harmon to replace Cam. If the offense can't sustain drives the defense will get tired dosnt matter who the team is!
Situation isn't that bad:
Highsmith, Watt, Benton, Herbig, O-line is young and full of first rounders. Quarterback okay, but we have Will Howard – let him play and show what he is. We have 2 good tight ends, in Muth and Washington, JPJ is a good corner and Payton Wilson a good linebacker. Warren is an okay running back and we have a youngster that Mike Dumblin don't even really try.
Greatest concern besides franchise qb is receiver position.
By the way: I don't give an "f" about a .500 season. We need changes and a rebuild, get rid of Dumblins "standard". I have no problem with bottom of the league for 2 or 3 years as long as we do a real rebuild. Steelers stuck in the 90's offense and defense. That's Tomlins work. I'm excited! Go Steelers.
Steelers keep their coaches long-term. They have 12 draft picks this year clean that roster out bring in some young guys. You’re gonna have a few years to build this.

Whoever takes the job, it should come the mentality of rebuild, and some losing seasons are needed; that's ok to me if that's what is required to built an organizations that looks for Championships and not just "winning seasons".
Chris is a moron….The Steelers are the MOST ATRACTIVE landing spot for any Head Coach; the JOB SECURITY alone makes this case.
A new Steelers HC can’t be expected to deliver a Lombardi for 3-4 seasons which is exactly why some HC candidates will want this job. Ravens HC? You better have a plan to get Lamar to the SB next February.

People continue to over rate Dumlin to the point they think pur roster is bereft of talent.

These 2 clowns don't even know what they're talking about…. They went 10-7 with a garbage QB and the 3 Stooges of coaching. MT doesn't know what he's doing, he's a cheerleader. The OC and DC are even worse. Think Arthur Smith only has 3 plays … Get a real coach, DC and OC and this team will look 80% better. Use the middle of the field on offense and cover the middle of the field, there's a 50% improvement already. 😆

JPJ is too handsy – penalty machine. Shirks tackles and it’s always about him! You watch top CBs across the league and they are a cut above JPJ, play close, keep hands down and hit hard.
WTF is Chris thinking? So what if the Steelers don’t have the best line up right now. A good coach in Pittsburgh will have plenty of time to set up HIS roster.
Steelers fan here. I say rebuild the team even if we suck for a few years. I'm ok with that.
