I have no doubt that when he’s fully healthy he’ll be much better. The 2nd half of his rookie year he really started to take off and by the playoffs he was already our best receiving option, looking like he could even potentially develop into a solid WR1 for us in a year or two.
I think the injury in week 1 and trying to play through it really threw him off this season and he’s a way better player than what we saw from him. Hopefully with a healthy shoulder and a new WR coach his upward trajectory of development continues.
Don’t know what’s going to happen with Rice this offseason, but regardless I still think Worthy is much better suited as a WR2 than a WR1. If Carnell Tate falls to pick #9 in the draft I would be ecstatic if we drafted him. A WR corps of Tate, Worthy, Rice (maybe) could be amazing.
Well we’re going to need it considering this is likely Rashee’s last year here. Someone has to step up as a good long-term option.
Does it still work if it’s intentional?
*Presses X to doubt*
3rd year WR breakout seasons are a legitimate thing. I’ll even give him a mulligan for one of his first two because of Embree being his position coach and accept 800/8 as a positive 2026 season (maybe throw in a game winning TD in the postseason).

Goooooood…
Bud, you had the same YAC as Juju. Calm down.
We already have Rashee we don’t need any more monsters
I wonder when this “monster” will gain 20lbs
I blame coaching for a lot of our WR performance. Obviously for Worthy, also the injury. But we have had very talented WRs who come to KC and then don’t do well/as well as everyone expected. People complain about nearly all of our WRs.
I hope we get a good WR coach and get to see Worthy (and our other receivers) develop well.
lmao ok bud. Maybe lift a weight first
Let this monster run real routes please.
You look like Mecole Hardman 2.0 to me. Be glad to be proved wrong
This guy has yet to do a single impressive thing in two seasons as a first round pick. Put up or shut up, because so far I am woefully unimpressed.
unfortunately, he’s having the mecole hardman arc right now… except Hardman’s end-arounds worked more often
Who’s doubting him. He caught 42 balls, for 500ish yards and a TD. Nobody is saying he’s mid, besides his own stats.
I’m all for it. If things go south with Rice this guy has to become #1.
I’d love to see him put on some weight even if he slows down a little. His small frame concerns me from a durability standpoint

He’s by no means a bum but also not really elite enough to talk shit

Another 1st round pick by Veach with 5th round talent
If you had to guess TODAY whether Rice or Worthy has the better career, who you got?
Let’s go!
Sure buddy
Not many NFL players are scared of a monster that weighs 90 pounds wet
I mean DO SOMETHING then.
He’s good but not elite enough to spew this crap. He’s definitely not playing up to the up to where we got him in the draft.
Prove me wrong, Worthy.
