Deni getting hurt right when holiday gets back is so Blazers.
Deni being doubtful is a great sign that nothing is wrong, and he is just sore.

Seeing Deni as doubtful and not out is making blood flow toward my genitals. We will see how this develops.
This is weird because this is the 2nd time that Grant magically got healthy as soon as Deni Avdija got hurt.
Remember last season, Deni got back into the starting lineup halfway through the year for Shaedon Sharpe. (Yes, Chauncey was that bad that he had Deni on the bench). Then Shaedon Sharpe had his breakout game vs Washington (where he had his career high and that massive dunk) this was because Deni left the game with an injury.
Sharpe was then awarded his starting spot back and JERAMI GRANT got some weird injury randomly.
So Deni and Sharpe started for a few games. But after a few games, Deni sat out two games for an injury… so the Blazers brought back Grant for these 2 games to start.
Once Deni came back healthy – Grant was “injured” again. Then we played Sharpe/Deni every single game and Grant came out and said he will talk to his agent about returning AND when he came back…he said he did NOT expect to return to the team in the summer LOL.
Now this season…. all of a sudden when Deni gets hurt and there is a spot in the starting lineup, Grant is healthy again.
Maybe the team is willing to bench Grant unless they truly think they have no shot of competing because Deni is out then they go back and tell Grant that we need him to suit up? I mean after last year I was SURE that Grant was going to get moved and this season he build back up his trade value so I am not sure what is going on. I know its nothing between Grant and Deni but the team is very weird about Grant’s injuries and they always have been.
Ironic the dude carrying the team is the one with back problems lmao

A week off makes sense.
Only one more game of shaedon and friends 🥳 Also means that potentially could have deni, jerami and jrue with most the rust shaken off for the lakers game
Deni is going to be off till next thursday.
That’s really good news. It means the injury was nothing serious but more just some spasm.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he can already return against ATL but they being extra cautious just to give his back some rest.
